1. What is Earth Hour? When is it held this year?
A:Earth Hour is a global event organized by WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature, also known as World Wildlife Fund) and is held on the last Saturday of March annually, asking households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change. Earth hour was conceived by WWF and the Sydney Morning Herald in 2007, when 2.2 million residents of Sydney participated by turning off all non-essential lights. Following Sydney's lead, many other cities around the world adopted the event in 2008.
2. What are your thoughts and feelings about this event? Will you take part in this event?
A:I feel very fun and unforgetable.Yes i will take part.
3. Why do you think people are organising this event?
A:I think they are raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change
4. What will everyone be doing during Earth Hour?
A:Every one will turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour.
5. What activities can you organise with your family and friends during Earth Hour?
A:I will organise my family and my friends to go out for a walk or eat outside.
6. What are some global problems that the Earth is facing?
A:The Earth is facing Climate change is any long-term significant change in the expected patterns of average weather of a specific region.
